Bill Nicholson

Founder & CEO

Passion for high-quality design and customer service led Bill to dream of starting Nicholson Builders. After receiving a degree in Construction Technologies/Management from OSU/ATI, Bill had the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with top remodelers in the Columbus area. His drive for serving his clients with the highest level of quality and integrity, prompted him to launch out on his own. As the business has grown, Bill’s spirit of dedication to exceptional service and attention to detail continue to permeate every facet of the company. His desire to forge lasting relationships with his clients has been evidenced by the staggering number of past clients who have requested Bill for new projects year after year.

Mike Fought
President
One of our company’s founders, Mike joined forces with Bill to create Nicholson Builders in 2003. As a part of his blue collar upbringing in Fremont, he developed an affinity for cars, aircraft and all things mechanical. This led him to earn an Aerospace Engineering degree from The Ohio State University. Mike’s hallmarks are his calm demeanor and thoughtfulness, which serve him well in executing projects in an orderly and well thought out way. You are likely to encounter Mike enjoying time backpacking in the mountains or up in the air flying.
Jeremy Little
Sales Leader
Jeremy is an architect, designer and salesman with over 18 years in the industry. He has an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Miami University and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Maryland. He has “a passion for creating high quality, beautiful, and functional modern environments”, which he can attest to with a beautiful collection of very unique completed projects. His professional life converges with his personal pursuits of designing, drawing and painting. In addition Jeremy writes music, plays (and builds) guitars and enjoys hiking, mountain biking and hanging out with his wife of 16 years and their three children.
Karen Stone
Office Leader
The first face you are likely to encounter upon visiting our office is that of Karen Stone. She has been supporting our team for 15 years. “I love supporting the creative and talented individuals who help our clients’ home renovation dreams come true.” says Karen. In her free time Karen enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her husband of 37 years, Brian, and their two adult kids, Jessica & Gabriel. We would be lost without Karen’s hardwork!
Nathan Major
Production Leader
Nathan was recruited early in the life of Nicholson Builders for his great nature and commitment to quality in all he does. The youngest of three brothers, Nathan started his first construction job right out of high school and married his high school sweetheart at 20, with whom he has two daughters. His passions in the industry include “any complex framing details from radiused walls to installing new beams in old homes”. From a project management standpoint Nathan is most energized “when the jobsite is hopping with activity and the number of carpenters and tradesmen is just short of amounting to chaos”. He serves to advise our team of project managers and generally strives to elevate our company, our craftsmen and our industry to a higher standard. Nathan’s personal pursuits include time with family, church, hiking, camping and hunting.
Erik Maxwell
Design Leader
Erik fell into construction at a young age working for his dad's construction company. While he (enjoys) working with his hands, his calling is more creative. Most of his assignments include designing aspects of building. Erik likes knowing his efforts set our projects on a trajectory for success and longevity. He enjoys watching and playing sports in his free time.

Britain Meyers
Design Consultant
Britain moved to the Columbus area 22 years ago to be with his lovely wife. He began installing commercial kitchens in his father’s business before moving into residential construction where he has worked as a finish carpenter, a draftsman and a project manager. Now after 25 years in the industry he puts his experience and creative expertise to practice bringing projects to life with our clients. Britain is the proud father of no less than seven children and still manages to make time to read for pleasure and inspiration.
Doug Lugar
Design Consultant - CKBD, CLIPP
Doug first received a B.A. in biology with a chemistry minor from Case Western Reserve University and has since then earned certifications from the NKBA in kitchen and bathroom design and is a certified living in place professional (CLIPP). He has been involved with the industry for more than 30 years. Doug’s area of interest and expertise is in designing accessible, comfortable and safe solutions that meet our clients’ needs by “providing information that will allow our clients to make the best decisions for themselves and their home”. Doug and his wife of 38 years reside in Utica and have two children and three grandchildren. Doug makes time for family, woodworking and sports.
John Nicholson
Registered Architect
Many of our wonderful projects have been brought to life through John's creative efforts. John works with our clients to create beautiful designs that add to both the quality and efficiency of their lives. He appreciates finding those special moments for "gems" to be added to the formwork of the strong base design. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Ohio State University and a Masters in Architecture from Clemson University. Among his numerous and varied interests are playing original music with his band, skiing, dirt biking, traveling and being with family - especially his four children, one stepchild and amazing wife.
Josh Seymour
Design Consultant
From a young age, Josh has been passionate about building and design, namely by watching construction TV shows and building treehouses with his brothers. That lifelong enthusiasm led Josh to Nicholson in 2020, where he had the chance to turn his love for craftsmanship and design into a career. Outside of work, Josh enjoys a good cup of coffee, experimenting in the kitchen, and making memories with his wife, Morgann, and their son, Shepherd.
Wil Villalobos
Design Consultant
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Wil brings nearly 15 years of international design experience to the team, with a specialty in kitchen design. His career has taken him across Venezuela, Chile, and Portugal before settling in Columbus, giving him a unique global perspective that informs his work. Wil recently married the love of his life, Alyssa, and is an enthusiast of Mid Century Modern design, Porches, a good cup of coffee from a local café, building with LEGOs, and camping in the great outdoors.

Amy Statler
Senior Interior Designer - CKBD
Amy Statler has worked with Nicholson Builders as a designer since the founding of the company. Amy was naturally drawn into her career by watching her father, an architect, design and draft projects while sitting next to him as a little girl. Amy has a degree in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University and has worked as an interior designer for over 30 years. Amy loves to listen closely to the needs and desires of a client then bring life to their vision. Her goal is to create spaces that clients will smile about and enjoy for years after it is complete. When she’s not working on designs at Nicholson, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, chocolate lab and rescued kitty.
Gina Compora
Interior Designer I
Gina graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2017 with a degree in Interior Design. Originally from the small town of Fort Jennings, she moved to Columbus after college and quickly fell in love with the city’s charm. An avid plant lover, Gina is passionate about bringing the outdoors in-incorporating greenery alongside cozy colors and rich textures to create, warm, inviting spaces. When she’s not designing, she enjoys staying active in her church community, browsing vintage markets, and loving on her two cats and dog, Griswold. Most of all, she loves keeping up with her toddler alongside her husband, embracing the joy and chaos of family life.
Jessie Garner
Architectural Designer II
Originally from Grandview, this lifelong Columbus resident uses her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design to produce many of our drawings and conceptual renderings. Jessie and her husband love to travel and collect interesting things like fossils and antiques. She also likes to spend time outdoors and with her family, friends, and church. She has a passion for interior architecture and design which she skillfully displays with us.
Jude Saforo
Architectural Designer II
Jude was born in Ghana and moved to the United States in 2000. Since then, he has lived in Connecticut, Virginia, and various parts of New Jersey before relocating to Ohio to join our team. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Interior Architecture from Marywood University. After graduating, Jude worked at a small interior design firm before spending seven years with an architectural firm in New Jersey. In his free time, Jude enjoys creating music videos, practicing photography, building furniture, playing and watching soccer, and practicing his faith. Above all, he prioritizes spending time with his wife and their three sons.
John Strangis
Senior Architectural Designer
Born in Pittsburgh, but raised in Columbus, John brings a creative side to our Architectural Team. John came to Nicholson Builders with his time in the industry dating back to 2012 when he graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Architecture. John’s passion in the industry lies in custom residential design. His open-minded attitude helps break his creative thinking out of the many constraints within the industry to bring something unique to our clients. Outside of work, John holds a passion for music, both in listening and playing the drums. A father to one, he also makes time for exercise, travel, sports, and renovating his home in Pickerington. Always preferring to be hands on and learning, John has been an incredible asset to our team!
Katlyn Peterson
Design Associate
Katlyn graduated from Columbus College of Art & Design in 2024 with a degree in Interior Architecture & Design. She’s passionate about creating beautiful, functional spaces and brings curiosity and care to every project she takes on. Outside of design, Katlyn enjoys traveling and spending time with her family—especially her son, Malakai, and their yellow Lab, Bubu. She’s always eager to learn something new and grow both personally and professionally.
Leslie Brune
Interior Designer I
Leslie joined NBI in 2018. In 2022 she took some time off and joined us back again mid 2023! She is a proud wife and mother to 4 grown children and has 3 granddaughters. While Leslie went to school for elementary education, she discovered later in life her true passion is art and design. In her free time, Leslie pours herself into her passion and can be found doing all things arts & crafts, gardening and educating herself on wellness. Leslie’s joy behind her position as a designer is listening to a clients needs, then ticking all their boxes while also making it beautiful. Nothing is more rewarding to her than hearing a client say they love their finished project! We are so grateful for Leslie’s natural eye for design and passion for her clients.
Lindsay Marean
Interior Designer I
Lindsay worked as an intern with us in 2020 while studying Interior Design at The Ohio State University and minoring in fine arts. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Design she began her career in commercial design, where she developed a strong foundation in furniture design, space planning, and client relations. She is passionate about creating thoughtful, personalized spaces—focusing on materiality, full-service design, and unique elements tailored to each home. Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys gardening, cooking, visiting the farmer’s market with her husband, Trent, and Mini Dachshund, Betty, and spending time with her church, friends, and family.
Stefania Marciniak
Architectural Designer I
In 2024 Stefania graduated from Columbus College of Art & Design with a degree in Interior Architecture & Design and joined our Team. Her drive and natural abilities in the architecture realm makes her a valuable asset here in the office. In her free time, Stefania enjoys running, hiking, painting and enjoying time with her family of 7 in which she is the oldest of 5!
Sydney Foxworthy
Interior Design Assistant
Sydney hails from Sunbury, Ohio, but spend the last several years in Georgia studying at Savannah College of Art in Design. In 2026 she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and minor in Architecture. She joined us following her graduation with an eagerness to begin her career in design and get to learn more about materials, the design process from start to finish, and gain more knowledge with different design software. Sydney’s passion lies in being able to be apart of someone’s journey, helping her clients by designing thoughtful spaces that bring peace of mind. In her free time, she can be found baking, traveling, hiking and exploring new cities with her fiancé, Isaiah. Together they challenge themselves to spend as much time outdoors as possible which where she gathers inspiration for her own art.

Madison Wichael
Marketing & Office Administrator
Likely the first voice you hear when calling into our office, Madison will be the one you first share your remodeling dreams to. Since 2021, she has been operating as our Office Administrator. In 2023 she took on our Social Media Management. Since childhood, Madison has had a passion for all things residential design. In elementary school she would spend her weekends creating design boards for her parents, trying to sell them on a remodel. A self-proclaimed homebody, Madison loves spending time with her dog, Rita and cat, Marvin, cooking and baking, gardening, antiquing, all things 60’s & 70’s and spending time with her husband renovating their historic home. Madison is passionate about personalized care and serving our clients with hospitality!
Chadwick Miller
Estimator
An integral part in the creation of our projects is an accurate forecast of the costs involved. This is Chad’s area of expertise, earned through 23 years in the construction industry. He pulls from his experience in the field, and as a bookkeeper for a lumber yard and storage shed facility. Chad is guided by his faith in God and his integrity and is always willing to help others. He comes from an Amish background in Sugarcreek, OH and stays busy spending time with his wife and his two sons.

David Haugh
Production Consultant
Dave has worked in the construction and remodeling field for 40 plus years, holding a number of different positions on our production team. Dave got his start by purchasing campus area houses at Ohio State, renovating and renting them out while he was a student there. He is a person that can fix just about anything that breaks. He currently spends his free time restoring and driving unique old cars. Dave is also active in his local church enjoying his opportunity to serve in a variety of areas.
Andrew Armstrong
Project Manager
Born and raised in Ohio, Andrew brings a decade of carpentry experience to us. Andrew first joined us in 2022. In 2025 he and his wife took the adventure of a lifetime and lived in Hawaii for a year! We are so excited to have him back here managing our projects. In his free time, he can be found fly fishing, playing the guitar, camping, traveling with his wife and enjoying carpentry in and outside of work.
Joe Fullen
Project Manager
Joe has spent some time updating the look of our Nicholson Builders offices, but can generally be found out improving our clients’ homes. A graduate of Capital University, Joe has served 20 years in the building industry and especially likes to tackle challenging installations. In his own time Joe is raising three beautiful daughters with his lovely wife and supports the Columbus Crew!
Kelly Stepp
Project Manager
Kelly has operated in the residential constriction industry for over 25 years. From framing, to finishing to total remodels he has tackled it all with his strong suit being custom woodworking and problem solving. He grew up in Sheridan, Wyoming, lived in Montana for 10 years following and later relocated here to Worthington. In his free time he can be found indulging in all things outdoors such as mountain biking and skiing in addition to building and refurbishing mid century modern furniture and causing chaos with his 8 year old daughter.
Nathan Gordon
Carpenter
Nathan joined us in the Spring of 2024 with an extensive background in the industry. For nearly 30 years Nathan has been active in his career starting at age 17 when he built houses from the ground up. A year and a half later at just 18 years old he started his own construction business that he owned and operated for 17 years. Nathan has carpentry experience spanning the country-He has worked in Ohio, Michigan, Kansas, Colorado and New Mexico, and even helped train volunteers for Habitat for Humanity. He is a man of faith who is happiest when helping others with his God given gifts. When not working, Nathan is a proud husband and father to 3 adult children. A self proclaimed geek, he is also a movie buff and the king of one liners.
Norman Haney
Project Manager
Norman joined us in 2026 with decades worth of industry experience. He started in commercial construction, working his way up as a tradesman, then foreman, then superintendent! For the last 12 years he has worked as a project manager in the remodeling world. He is a proud father of 3 adult sons, all of who are serving in the Army and Air Force. In his free time, he can be found enjoying the outdoors. He is passionate about camping, ATV-ing and motorcycling.
Ryan Harrison
Project Manager
Ryan is an Upper Arlington native and Worthington Christian graduate. A proud man of faith, he has devoted much of his adult years traveling in and out of the country to Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic working with a mission organization study abroad program. He has now settled back into Columbus enjoying time with his family, girlfriend, church and our team here at Nicholson Builders as of 2022. New to the industry, Ryan has been an eager team member doing his best to absorb all the knowledge he can. He says there is nothing more satisfying than looking at a finished job and knowing you were a part of it.
Ryan Wilbur
Project Manager
Ryan joined Nicholson Builders in 2023 with over 30 years in the construction industry and has worn many hats within it. His passion for the industry began as a child looking up to his mother who worked as a tile installer for over 30 years. In his free time he enjoys bowling, OSU football and riding his motorcycle.
Shawn Moore
Project Manager
Shawn joined Nicholson Builders after several years of a great subcontractor relationship. He applies his ability to develop new and innovative ways to efficiently produce high quality products that will be enjoyed for years to come. He finished his last two years of high school at the Southwest Career Center studying architectural CAD/CAM drafting and has accrued 26 years of construction experience. “Never stop learning!” He is passionate about woodworking and hunting. Shawn is married and raising three girls and a son.

TJ Mossman
Carpentry Team Leader
TJ has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the Ohio State University and likes to stay active walking, running, hiking and working. TJ enjoys being able to work with his hands to problem solve and to see the end results of his efforts. One of TJ’s favorite rewards being a Project Manager is that he is able to have a visible positive impact on our clients’ lives. He is also passionate about training the next generation of carpenters and playing a role in their industry growth. TJ has been married since 2019 and uses his free time to do more woodworking, study the Bible and exercise. A fun fact about TJ is that he has a twin brother with a different birthday!
Ashton Ventola
Carpenter
Ashton joined us fresh out of high school after growing up familiar with Nicholson Builders and our industry through his family connections. Though he is new to the industry, he quickly proved his zest to learn-Always willing to jump in wherever needed, broaden his horizons and never stop learning. In his free time, he can be found working with his hands around his own home, playing video games and spending time with his friends and family.

Brad is a dedicated family man who loves golf, outdoors and sports. He's a proud grandfather to two children and enjoys putting others first in all that he does. We are incredibly grateful to have him join our family.
Bradly Day
Carpenter
Bradly joined our team in the spring of 2025 with eight years of experience in the remodeling industry. While studying at The Ohio State University, he gained hands-on experience as a carpenter, developing valuable skills in residential construction. Bradly thrives on projects that require precision and attention to detail, and he’s especially passionate about woodworking and the craftsmanship it demands. He finds deep satisfaction in shaping something lasting and beautiful with his hands. Outside of work, Bradly enjoys spending time with his wife. Together, they are actively involved in their church community and love opening their home to host friends for dinner and fellowship. He also finds joy in reading and outdoor activities like backpacking, hunting, fishing, running, biking, and snowboarding—anything that gets him outside and active.
Clifton Hostetler
Carpenter
Clifton grew up on a farm in Plain City as the third of six children. After high school, he worked as a welder for nearly a decade. In 2018, he took a break to hike the Appalachian Trail with his brother, completing the journey in about six months. Upon his return, he developed a passion for the remodeling industry, working for various companies and dedicating time to improving his own home. In his free time, Clifton enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys, cooking, watching sports, and being outdoors, whether fishing or hiking.
Evan Ross
Carpenter
Evan is a contributor to our team of carpenters. He is a graduate of the Delaware Area Career Center where he studied Construction Technologies and can claim over four years of experience. At work he really likes framing projects and outside of work enjoys photography, hunting and playing guitar.
Jacob Helmlinger
Carpenter
Born and raised in Columbus, Jacob graduated from Olentangy High School and studied at The Ohio State University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in communication. Jacob lived abroad in Peru for a year, then returned to help his father with his landscaping company, before getting into mortgage sales for the next decade. Being a fan of all things real estate and craving a change from his desk job, he wanted to learn how to fix and remodel his own houses, so he dove headfirst into the remodeling business in 2023. Jacob is a proud family-man as a devoted son, brother and uncle to 5 nieces and nephews who he cherishes dearly. Jacob is also an active member in his church and small group. Jacob loves taking ideas on paper and turning them into tangible results that will be used every day. His true passion is people. Serving others and making sure clients are raving fans are what bring him fulfillment.
Jay Johnston
Electrical Apprentice
Jay joined NBI in the fall of 2023 with 10 years of varying customer service and sales experience in retail and corporate settings. He is a happy husband and soon-to-be father in 2024! He resides with his wife in Hilliard, and in his free time can be found renovating his 1970 RV, camping, kayaking and visiting National Parks where he has had multiple close encounters with bears! We are excited to see where Jay goes in the industry!
Jax Hollister
Carpenter
Jax joined us for the summer of 2024 to expand his interest in the building industry. He grew up in Worthington, attended Worthington Christian and has a passion to work with his hands. Following working as a farm hand for Local Roots in Powell, Ohio for two years, he thought he would explore our industry. We can’t wait to see Jax expand his skills!
Lance Ewald
Electrician
One of our longer serving guys in the field, Lance has proven himself an invaluable craftsman with countless projects displaying his work. While he has made his largest contributions as a master tile setter, Lance is proficient in many areas of remodeling including carpentry and mechanical work. Aside from his remodeling talents, Lance is known to add life to a jobsite and is well known for his extensively modified diesel truck. He can also be found remodeling his own home and has a lesser known passion for gardening.
Mark Hartley
Carpenter
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Mark now resides in Clintonville and brings over 40 years of experience in residential and commercial building and remodeling. With a lifelong passion for fine carpentry, restoration, and craftsmanship, he joined Nicholson Builders in 2025 eager to contribute his expertise and collaborate as part of a team. A proud single father to one daughter, Mark enjoys building and restoring antique minibikes in his free time. He’s also an outdoor enthusiast who spends as much time as possible hiking, boating, and fishing.
Mel Millimen
Carpenter
Mel was born in Toledo and made his way to Columbus in the early 2000’s. Just prior to moving to Central Ohio he developed a passion for our industry. Mel quickly discovered he got great satisfaction from creating things that become apart of people’s lives and history. He found a type of magic working on an older home, for Mel, it is like working alongside carpenters from past generations! He enjoys the simple pleasures of ongoing learning and executing of new techniques to add to his repertoire. In his free time, he enjoys supporting and exploring the overflowing talent within Columbus’s local art, music, comedy, and food scene. On weekends, you can find him paying visits to neighboring cities to support their local talents too.
Michael Flanigan
Carpenter
Michael grew up in the Grandview Heights area. He is happily married and has a baby girl with his high school sweetheart. Michael is relatively new to the industry and has really enjoyed learning the trade here at Nicholson Builders.
Nick Maupin
Tile Specialist
Nick grew up locally in Columbus and went to school in Grandview Heights. He’s been a Tile Specialist for over two years and has grown to have a great passion for mastering the craft and trying to provide the best possible work for our clients. He loves spending time with his family, hunting and fishing, and watching football in the fall. One thing that no one would guess is that he still watches Disney Channel movies from the 90’s. He thinks they are pure classics.
Patrick Wooge
Carpenter
Patrick, originally from Woodsfield, Ohio, moved to Columbus in 2021 and now lives in Lewis Center with his girlfriend, daughter, two Australian Shepherds, and cats. With over five years of industry experience, he is passionate about delivering projects that clients truly appreciate and enjoys tackling complex challenges. In his free time, Patrick loves playing billiards, creating architectural renderings, trying to win over his girlfriend’s cats, and, most of all, making those around him laugh.

Raised in Columbus, Sam is new to the remodeling industry and brings a fresh perspective backed by a degree in Business Administration and Project Management from Liberty University. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, riding motorcycles, spending time with friends and family, and traveling whenever he gets the chance.

Bryan Copley
Small Projects Sales Lead
Our Small Projects and Handyman Division was created in no small part with the help of Bryan Copley. Originally from Reynoldsburg, Bryan has enjoyed 30 years in the building and remodeling industry with experience in cabinetry and casework, finish carpentry and more. With his addition to our team we are able to serve our clients with timely skilled services in repairing and remodeling. Outside of work, Bryan is raising two kids and spending time with his wife. Bryan recently build a house for his own family and enjoys making time for camping, hiking, running, and enjoying God’s creation.
Paul Batchelder
Project Coordinator
Our Small Projects / Handyman Division runs smoothly in part due to Paul’s efforts. He brings 17 years of construction experience to the table and has been instrumental in the success of this growing part of our business. In his free time, Paul can be found spending time with his family. He is an accomplished drummer, and with his wife they share a love for making and listening to music alongside their 6 year old son. They also try to get to the mountains when they aren’t remodeling their own home.
Daniel McCallister
Sales Consultant
Dan came to us in 2023 with high-end remodeling experience dating back to 2021. While he started with NBI in the field, Dan quickly excelled into a sales role! He now has his hands on each and every project, providing high quality, organized customer care. He is passionate about being apart of a Team and constantly meeting new people. He is one of 9 children with his connections to central Ohio dating back many generations. Dan and his wife reside in Lancaster with their three young sons. Prior to working in remodeling, Dan worked in full time church ministry, directing faith formation programs. In his free time he enjoys fishing, playing basketball and studying history.
Al Yoder

From Irwin, Ohio, Al possesses a wealth of construction knowledge which he is known to deliver with a smile and a friendly word! His experience comes from a career spent in construction and facilities maintenance. He is a graduate of Rosedale Bible College and Cedarville University. Al and wife of 35 years, Alma, have three married kids and six grandkids. Al enjoys all things construction and interacting with clients. He is passionate about volunteering with his church’s service group, doing work projects for church members and his local community and especially enjoys leading a college group annually to a disaster site to rebuild homes.
Brandon Jones
Technician
Brandon was born and raised in Indiana and brings a unique blend of creativity and technical skill to the team. He holds degrees from both Purdue University and the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he studied Fashion Design. Before joining Nicholson Builders, he spent six years designing men’s and women’s ready-to-wear for major retailers including Macy’s and Abercrombie & Fitch. With a deep love for design, craftsmanship, and building meaningful relationships, Brandon is passionate about creating thoughtful, beautiful spaces that reflect each client’s vision. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, exploring new creative projects, and fishing.
Caleb George

Caleb joined us in 2026 with experience both in the remodeling and custom cabinetry industry. Though born in Africa, he has spent his life here in Ohio. Since graduating high school, he’s split his time between Rosedale Bible College and doing mission work with YWAM spending 6 months in Australia and Papúa New Guinea. In his free time he can be found dedicating himself to mission work and travel-He has visited 6 of the 7 continents! Additionally, he enjoys playing and listening to music and all things outdoors-Playing sports, hunting, fishing, and hiking.
Josh Foor

A Columbus native, Josh lives with his wife, Camille, and their four kids on a small urban farmstead with chickens here in Columbus. He’s passionate about breathing new life into old things, making them more functional and beautiful for everyday living.
Luca Gingerich

Luca grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, but in 2019 moved to Bow, Washington where he gained 3 years of industry experience working for his family’s shed business as a framer and salesman. Shortly after, he relocated to Ohio to attend Rosedale Bible College for 2 years and has stayed ever since! Luca is a lover of photography, the outdoors, ocean air and his 2 Pembroke Welsh Corgis.
Steve Balch
Technician
Steve has been passionate about woodworking and building for as long as he can remember. With over 40 years of experience across a wide range of construction projects, he has spent the last 25 years specializing in office systems while continuing to take on side projects in trim work, renovations, decks, and more. Originally from Delaware, Steve currently resides in Westerville with his high school sweetheart and wife of more than 40 years. When he’s not working, he enjoys listening to his favorite oldies bands, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, and spending time with his six grandchildren. His faith and family are at the heart of everything he does. A fun fact about Steve is that our Office Administrator, Madison Wichael, is his niece — and the two are best of friends. They bond over their shared love of ’70s music — swapping new songs with each other every day and teaming up on home projects whenever they can.
Will Lamm
Project Leader
William has lived in Columbus his entire life, but has spent much time venturing out on excursions of various sorts. He likes to backpack, ski, mountain bike, scuba dive and study wilderness medicine and has thus far hiked 700 miles of the Appalachian Trail. William studied Ecotourism and Adventure at Hocking College. William’s passion in the industry is in working with wood and knowing the many varieties and their uses.
